In 1997, on a commission to photograph a public building being made, Magnum photographer Mark Power was given access to the construction site of the Millennium Dome, in east London. From there he went on to take pictures during other various commissions around the world, creating images at various construction sites, factories, quarries, shipyards, steelmills, recycling facilities, theatres, etc. In the photographer's own words, 'Fashion' is a collection of photographs of things being made.
