Home Fires, Volume I

The photographs in "Home Fires, Volume I: The Past" were taken during the height of the historic San Joaquin Valley drought. In addition, they were all taken during Winter, when the hectic activities of the agriculture industry are absent - no crops, no cropdusters swooping overhead, no tractors, no swathers, no balers, no lines of laborers bent over in shimmering heat.
