Trapped! A Whale's Rescue

Renowned artist Wendell Minor and author Robert Burleigh capture the majestic power of a humpback whale as it travels from the Arctic to the Pacific coast and the helplessness when it's ensnared by abandoned fishing nets. Spotted by a fisherman, the whale was cut free by a group of volunteer divers and whale experts. Afterwards, the whale nudged each rescuer in thanks.
