To Man in Truth

Since time began, humans have searched for a reality deeper than their superficial existence. Many give up the search as futile when difficulties and obstacles are encountered, but a rare few discover the treasure and pave the way for those who have the courage to follow. This is a collection of letters to a spiritual master from men endeavouring to live the spiritual life, or the life of love. It explores the various difficulties, both inner and outer, that men must face when they truly embark upon a path to discover something more real.;Unlike many Eastern traditions which encourage a withdrawal from everyday life, Barry Long introduces a practical way which does not separate God from the commonplace. He aims to encourage those who seek his guidance to use their everyday lives as a means for spiritual realisation. Questions about such issues as women, love, work and family are addressed in a practical manner.
