Description

The poetic volume of the author Korina Sheri with the impressive title "Traceless Journey of the Troubled Soul" reflects existential themes such as the theme of loneliness, free spirit, today's doubt, and confusion, responsibility, guilt for the new generation, and more beyond for the whole human society. The poems are organically connected as part of a harmonious whole. In the realization of these themes in a special style of writing, through successive questions and a deep philosophical-meditative and psychological analysis of feelings, thoughts, and human actions, the author has used the vital material in her own way, has used the creative imagination as a property of human consciousness and as a vast and complex process of generalization and typification that intertwines with her talent, awareness of reality, and emotional wealth. She reproduces 'the general' through the individual and the concrete. All questions, uncertainty, failure, and the path followed for survival, she embodies as essential for all people or phenomena, similar or common sides to those that are reflected in her artistic work. She uses stylistic figures with a fine artistic taste: antithesis, contrast, enumeration, question, rebuke, prayer, doubt, desire, etc., with the aim of presenting ideas, concepts, and feelings with special liveliness and dynamism. In her work, we also find artistic details of everyday life that take on general importance.

The writer focuses on her subjective world, on such negative states as fear, anxiety, monotony, and loneliness. As for all existentialists, even for the author, the problem of freedom is also important, and according to her, it is achieved when she "chooses herself" with her every action and attitude. In a critical-realistic way, everything that happens in the course of life's events is also reflected as an inevitable and eternal manifestation of human nature itself, which is plagued by selfishness, malice, indifference, etc. However, she always sees the light of optimism and joy that small pleasures give, appreciating them as healing medicine and as a triumph in social life.
