At the funeral of old Badd, everybody is moved except for Ready, who has waited for the 100-year-old man's death for a long time - he wants to buy his ranch. Unfortunately for Ready the old man has an heir, Waldo, a tenderfoot' who arrives straight from his native England accompanied by his butler Jasper. Two worlds clash: the refined ancient and the new, deeply- rustic way of life.'
