The Silence of October

As the seventh anniversary of their daughter's death approaches, Klara and Hector Armstrong are struggling to live alongside grief. Klara, a former concert pianist, is consumed by guilt over the love she believes she never truly felt for her daughter, while Hector, an academic, buries himself in a literary biography that begins to expose truths he has spent a lifetime avoiding. When an invitation to the Samhain handfasting of their goddaughter reunites them with Klara's oldest friend, Diane, old wounds reopen and long-buried secrets surface. As the past collides with the present, all three must confront loss, love and the choices that have shaped their lives.
