The Other Way

It is 1941 and Lil, a young working-class woman and Margaret, a socialite, embark on a secret affair. When Margaret marries a flight lieutenant, Lil reluctantly marries Alfie Edwards, a childhood acquaintance. Reunited at the end of the war, Lil and Alfie, after traumatic experience as a prisoner in Germany are forced to build a life together.
