The Jesse Tree

A unique Advent custom and a fun activity combine for an interactive way to count the days to Christmas.  The Jesse Tree represents the family tree of Jesus, introducing children to people of the Bible through the Old Testament in anticipation for his coming. Decorate a tree branch or Christmas tree with 24 easy-to-make symbols and read short stories about who each symbol represents. Templates for the symbols and Bible references are provided along with a message about the meaning of each symbol.  Create an Advent calendar with a difference for children and all the family to enjoy.
