ASHLEE LEPPERT is a veteran of the United States Coast Guard where she proudly served as a helicopter mechanic and rescue flight crew member. She enjoyed the distinct honor of receiving a personal invitation to President Trump's 2018 State of the Union Address. There, Ashlee was addressed directly by the President and commended, on behalf of her and her crew, for their rescue work during the devastating Hurricane Harvey.

Ashlee overcame hardships and met challenges with grace under the guidance of God. "I have come away with valuable lessons to share," she says. "Life's challenges have taught me to be not just a survivor, but someone who thrives in this amazing, beautiful, complicated world.
