The EU Song Book

The EU Song Book presents a wide collection of genres and European cultural history from the 15th century to the present day, from folk music to modern pop songs. EU's motto "United in Diversity" manifests itself in this song book, which includes loved classics and local gems. The EU Song Book invites the European populations to get to know each other better by singing each other's songs and includes 6 songs from each of the 27 EU countries as well as the European anthem - a total of 164 songs. Chosen by the people of the EU, the songs fall into 6 categories: love songs, nature & seasons, freedom & peace, folksongs & traditionals, faith & spirituality and children's songs. Each song is presented with sheet music for solo voice and chords in the song's original language and in an English version. At the same time, each song is presented in its historical and cultural framework.
