The Encyclopaedia of Girls' School Stories: Volume One

The Encyclopaedia of Girls School Stories is published in three volumes, of which this is Volume One. Each volume contains articles on many the authors of girls' school stories, and bibliographical lists of all of them. In addition there are articles on various subjects to do with school stories, such as Adult School Fiction. As well as 32 colour illustrations, there are around 300 illustrations in black and white.
