The Edge of the World

A decommissioned French warship no one wants, a man struggling to find reasons to live, and a hapless UK government that is always three steps behind... Max Henderson, wealthy and respected owner of Portsmouth's largest shipyard, seems to be cracking up. Drunk and dishevelled, Max is helped off a bridge by police officers in an apparent suicide attempt.
