Ten Things I Wish I'd Known Before Leading a Church

Ten things - five positive habits and five recurring challenges - that have impacted me, my family and the people I lead. If we can get these ten things right, I believe we will be a blessing to our churches, and thrive rather than just survive in this unique and privileged role.So how to distinguish the important from the urgent? How to navigate the demands of ministry and family? What about responding to unfair criticism and owning our mistakes? How can we ever make time to pray? And is it still OK for me to play cricket? I didn't have answers when I began, but this is what I have learned.
