Sunderland

Sunderland has changed more in the last decade than in the whole of the century before with barely a trace left of the great traditions of coalmining, shipbuilding and marine engineering for which the city was once famous. This book looks at the last hundred years of Sunderland through a sequence of old photographs selected from the archives of the Sunderland Echo by journalist Carol Roberton.
