State of World Population 2017

The United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) is the lead UN agency for delivering a world where every pregnancy is wanted, every childbirth is safe and every young person's potential is fulfilled. Each year, UNFPA releases its flagship State of World Population. The 2017 edition, Worlds Apart: Reproductive Health and Rights in an Age of Inequality, shows how economic inequality is intertwined with women's unequal access to contraception, child care and maternal health services.
