Simply Tina

Tina Turner's legendary 1983 comeback performance on Channel 4's The Tube with Heaven 17 was captured by music photographer Paul Cox. This started a relationship between the legendary artist and photographer for two decades. Paul was commissioned to photograph Tina Turner on a number of video shoots and at big live extravagances. He quickly built up a rapport with the singer. Over the course of the next twenty or so years Paul took many of the exceptional photographs of the undisputed queen of rock that we know today. Tina felt comfortable with Paul and together they created photographs at the video sets including Golden Eye, Two People, Private Dancer, Typical Male, Girls, Breaking Every Rule and Simply the Best. This fantastic book takes you on a journey through a number of video shoots, on set and off set, of candid and studio photos. Included in this book are pictures of Tina with David Bowie, Brian Adams and Rod Stewart. This wonderful collection shows some rare and unseen photos, the proof is in the book.
