This book is a practical revision aid for postgraduate medical students preparing for dermatology examinations. Divided into 17 sections, the text begins with the anatomy and physiology of the skin, and the morphology, histopathology and investigative techniques for skin lesions. Each of the following chapters examines a different type of dermatologic condition including fungal infections, tumours, blistering diseases, viral infections, pigmentation disorders, and more. Each section presents clinical cases with detailed discussion on the topic, followed by multiple choice questions (MCQs) with explanatory answers. 840 images are integrated in the text, as well as diagrams, mnemonics and charts to assist learning. Each section concludes with a brief summary for quick revision. The seventh edition has been fully revised and updated in line with current medical courses and syllabi.
