Welcome to the first three instalments in the Team Awesome Animals series. Team Awesome Animals Origins introduces our six stars, ordinary animals who gain superpowers after a chance encounter exposes them to pieces of a meteor's mysterious energy. From superfast electrical powers to the ability to fly and control fire, they find their worlds turned upside down. Meeting the prince of an alien planet, they learn their world is under threat and must step up to become superheroes to protect their home and everyone they love. During this volume and the next two stories included within this book, 'An Interview with Destiny' and 'Protect and Serve', our heroes face the tasks of beginning to learn how to control their powers, battling against an evil alien warlord and making it home in time for dinner! It sounds like an impossible task, but when these six heroes work together, there's nothing they cannot do. They're Awesome, they're Animals, they're Team Awesome Animals!
