Knitting is a long-standing tradition in Newfoundland and Labrador. Today, knitting is more of a past time and artistic endeavour, but until recent times knitted garments made up a huge proportion of daily wear in the province. This includes how we dressed children for cold North Atlantic weather.  Newfoundland Knits for Little Ones is a collection of fifteen patterns that includes garments and accessories, along with tips and tricks for knitting children's wear. Sizing ranges from newborn to children's large, with bonus adult sizing for select patterns. Each pattern blends traditional elements with contemporary styles, keeping the needs of babies, toddlers, and children at the heart of the design.
