Beautiful 500 piece high quality jigsaw puzzle featuring Irish Donkeys and a dry stone wall. Traditionally in Ireland donkeys were used to carry turf from the bogs and loose stone to clear fields. The stone was then used to construct dry stone walls to mark out the boundaries of farms and small holdings. Donkeys are a much loved animal in Ireland and even when they became of less use on the land due to mechanisation, they held their place in Irish hearts and are often kept as charming pets on farms.
