Imperialism, Nationalism and Regionalism in Canadian and Modern Indian History

Both India and Canada are plural societies and both have movements based on ethnic, linguistic and religious differences. Regional imbal**xAD;ances and unequal economic growth have generated tensions in both the countries. This volume is a collection of seven papers contributed by well known Canadian and Indian historians on aspects relating to Imperialism, Nationalism and Regionalism-themes where parallels can be drawn between the Indian and Canadian experiences.
