The 'fairytale suite' I Blaafjellet (In the Blue Mountain), Op. 44, consists of six virtuoso piano movements of great originality and beauty, inspired by Norwegian mythical creatures. First-ever Urtext edition, edited by Christian Gr¢vlen, following the original 1896 edition, which was out of print for many years. Agathe Backer Gr¢ndahl ist vor allem als bedeutende norwegische Pianistin bekannt, während ihre meisterhaften Kompositionen bis heute nur wenig Beachtung fanden. Die „Märchensuite" I Blaafjellet (Im Blauberg) op. 44 besteht aus sechs virtuosen Klaviersätzen von großer Originalität und Schönheit, die von norwegischen Fabelwesen inspiriert sind.
