Erin and the Mouse

Foreword by Lost Voice Guy, Lee Ridley: I enjoyed reading this book. It is very relatable to people with communication difficulties. The heroine is a little girl who cannot walk, talk or use her hands. She shows Mouse how to read, write and play and they go on to Mouse making friends and joining a recorder group playing in a Christmas concert. Real life Erin with cerebral palsy, aided by a Special Effect communication device, says "Never give up. I am able as I am. Accept me as me." Latham's proceeds as author, having aided Erin in using the communication device, all go to charity Special Effect.
