Released from jail, John Pearce is not yet free from the smugglers whose boat he stole - and they want bloody revenge. Evading his pursuers by undertaking a dangerous mission in support of a revolt in France, Pearce must extricate himself from peril - along with an old flame - and rejoin the fleet.
