Disenfranchised Grief

This book updates and broadens the concept of disenfranchised grief to include cultural, social, relational, and racial facets of grief that currently permeate society. Movements stemming from racial, social, and gender inequality are driving practitioners and professors to challenge their implicit biases for the betterment of client welfare and society as a whole. As such, they are actively searching for resources to explore the sensitive topics contained within the proposed compendium. The emphasis of disenfranchised grief across populations is unique.
