Disability

The term 'disability' covers a wide range of physical, psycho-social or sensory impairments which may or may not affect a person's ability to carry out their day-to-day activities. This book looks at the challenges faced by people living with disabilities such as; discrimination, representation, accessibility issues and availability of social care, particularly in the UK.
