Almost everything there is to know about the history of Channel Islands aviation, from its early beginnings to the Second World War, must surely be included in this weighty book, together with a huge number of photographs. The book has taken 40 years to come to fruition, and the result is a readable and highly illustrated book that had to be scaled down from the author's original 560 pages… which he has ably done, splitting off the more specialised aspects of the collectables which the Channel Islands Specialist Society has published in two volumes.
