An early ideal for design inspired by place, Can Lis rests on a Mallorcan cliff, nearly concealed by the marés stone from which it was made. The photographs are by Irish born and in New York living photographer Simon Watson and chart the movement of light across Can Lis throughout a day, a source of fascination for the late architect as he designed the home, lovingly named after his wife.
