As a small boy growing up in rural Ireland in the 1920s, Barney's life was subject to poverty. His life was about to change following an encounter with a leprechaun.

He must follow the leprechaun to the land of the Fairies and uncover his true identity, as Bres, son of the Goddess Eriu of Ireland.

Can Bres retrieve the Answerer Sword from the wolf headed serpent beast, the Oillipheist?
