Kendra DeColo is a poet, pop culture critic, and comics artist whose work has appeared in American Poetry Review , Columbia Journal , Los Angeles Review , Tin House , Bitch Magazine , and elsewhere. She is a founding editor of the journal Nashville Review . I Am Not Trying to Hide My Hungers from the World is DeColo's third collection of poems. Her first collection, Thieves in the Afterlife (Saturnalia Books, 2014), won the 2013 Saturnalia Books Poetry Prize, selected by Yusef Komunyakaa.
