Favourite Books of the Year

Dubray Books is a company of book lovers, so this year we would like to share with you the books that have meant the most to each of us throughout the past year.

Most of the books - but not all - were published in 2014. They are predominantly novels (of just about every genre) but the list also includes biography, history, poetry and popular science.

A few enthusiasts tried to get away with nominating more than one title but we insisted that everybody look deep into their hearts to choose that one special book.
