    If you've stopped to eat in Greystones in recent years, chances are you've done so at the Happy Pear, David and Stephen Flynn's organic food shop and cafe. Now the brothers share some of the recipes that have made the Happy Pear so successful in their first book. Join us in Grafton Street for a book signing (and perhaps a few tasty nibbles!) with David and Stephen.

    One of Ireland's most popular singers, Mary Black has taken some time away from her prolific touring and recording schedule to write an autobiography. Down The Crooked Road tells the story from Mary's earliest days, born into a musical family, learning to sing in her childhood, and making her first appearances in the pubs of Dublin. She also reflects on the challenges of balancing career and family life as she rose to international stardom. Mary will be signing copies of her book in our Grafton Street shop on October 18th.

    A regular (and very popular) guest at Dubray Books, renowned travel writer, television presenter, and member of Monty Python's Flying Circus, Michael Palin will be signing copies of his latest book, Travelling To Work. The third volume of his diaries, Travelling to Work covers the years from 1988 to 1998, including film success with A Fish Called Wanda and his brilliant performance as a schoolteacher in Alan Bleasdale's tv series, GBH. A prefect Christmas present for the Palin fan in your life.
