Description

Jeanette Hesketh is a troubled girl. Excluded from school after a breakdown, she has only one confidante: Mark Child, an attractive but dangerous young man. Their strange relationship is hidden from all around them, and Jeanette must find her way through a maze of secrets and betrayal, desires and disillusionment, fictions and confession, as she struggles for her sanity in a world of fear and forbidden longings.
